USA | Sloan Estate


位於美國 California Napa Valley 的 Sloan Estate 於 1998 年由 Stuart Sloan 創立,直至 2011 年被香港高銀集團主席藩蘇通收購,現由他的女兒 Jenny Pan 主理。由於酒莊甚少接受參觀,主要以招呼朋友為主,所以 Sloan 可說是美國膜拜酒莊中頗為神秘的一個。

Located in Napa Valley of California, Sloan Estate was found by Stuart Sloan in 1998. Sutong Pan, the chairman of Goldin Group, acquired the estate in 2011, and is now managed by his daughter, Jenny Pan.


酒莊現有的13英畝 (約 5.26公頃) 葡萄園於 1997 年開始種植,當中約有 67% Cabernet Sauvignon、28% Merlot 以及少量 Cabernet Franc 和Petit Verdot,共出品兩個酒款 - Sloan 和副牌酒 Asterisk。前者的第一個年份為 2000 年,後者為 2004 年,每款年產約 500 至 700 箱。

The 13 acres (about 5.26 hectares) of vines were planted in 1997, with about 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and some Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The estate produces the flagship Solan and second wine Asterisk. 2000 and 2004 were the first vintages respectively. The annual production is about 500 to 700 cases per each wine.


Asterisk 2018

Asterisk 以 Cabernet Sauvignon 和 Merlot 混釀。

2018 年帶有鮮明的覆盆子、黑櫻桃、一絲黑朱古力和紫羅蘭花香。

酒體偏厚,單寧感和酸度偏高,富有黑醋栗、黑櫻桃、煙熏和香辛味道。

果感突出,結構完整,表現活潑而有層次。


Asterisk is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

2018 had expressive aromas of raspberries, black cherries, touch of dark chocolate and violets.

It showed medium-plus body, medium-plus tannin and medium-plus acidity. It had flavours of black currants, black cherries, smoky and spice.

It was fruity with structure and layers.

Sloan 2018

Sloan 以 Cabernet Sauvignon、Merlot、Cabernet Franc 和 Petit Verdot 混釀而成。

2018 年散發出濃郁的花、黑莓、薄荷、烤烘和香辛氣息。

酒體厚身,單寧和酸度偏高。口感圓滑,帶有黑莓、咖啡、香辛、礦物和一絲泥土氣息,表現複雜,結構堅固,餘韻悠長。


Sloan is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

2018 had intense aromas of floral, blackberries, mint, toast and spices.

It showed full body, medium-plus tannin and medium-plus acidity. The mouth feeling was smooth, with flavours of blackberries, coffee, spice, mineral and touch of earth. It was complex, and had strong structure and long after-taste.
