In Italy, we visited few wineries which specialise in producing sparkling wine. Ferrari is no doubt one of the most iconic ones.
這次的意大利之旅我們參觀了好幾間專門釀造氣泡酒的酒莊。毫無疑問，Ferrari是意大利氣泡酒最具代表性的酒莊之一。
The story of Ferrari can be dated back to 1902.
Ferrari的故事始源於1902年。
Founder of Ferrari, Giulio Ferrari, would like to make a sparkling wine comparable to Champagne in Italy after studying in France. He brought the traditional method to Italy and found that the terroirs of his area, Trentino, is perfectly suitable. Therefore, he started planting Chardonnay.
創辦人Giulio Ferrari於法國留學後希望在意大利釀造出能與香檳媲美的氣泡酒，於是把法國傳統香檳釀造方法帶回意大利，並事先看準了自己家鄉Trentino的獨特風土，開始在這裏種植Chardonnay。
In 1952, Giulio Ferrari, which had no children to continue his legacy, decided to sell the winery to a friend and wine shop owner, Bruno Lunelli, after a careful selection of the candidates.
直到1952年，由於沒有子女的關係，Giulio Ferrari最後在細心挑選下把公司賣給區內一間酒鋪的老闆Bruno Lunelli。
Nowadays, Ferrari has become one of the most prestigious sparkling producers in Italy, and the winery still remains 100% family-owned, by the 3rd generation.
時至今日，Ferrari已成為意大利氣泡酒的代表酒莊之一，並繼續由Lunelli 家族管理，現已傳承到第三代。
The family owns 100ha of vineyards located between 400m and 750m altitude, all certified organic. They also buy grapes from 600 growers, with an overall annual production around 6 million bottles.
家族現擁有100公頃葡萄園，位於海拔400米至750米不等，全部均取得有機種植認可。此外，他們另向600個葡萄農購買葡萄，年產大約6百萬瓶酒。
Ferrari only use Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and own yeasts selected from their vineyards long time ago.
Ferrari的氣泡酒只採用Chardonnay和Pinot Noir，並使用很久以前從自家葡萄園裏挑選出來的自然酵母釀酒。

Ferrari Brut NV | FS 85+
It is made from 100% Chardonnay.
Fine bubbles.
Aromas of yeast, biscuit, pear and hints of white flowers.
On the palate, there are yeast, toast, pear and peach flavours.
The sparkling is simple and pleasant, perfect for daily drinking.
由100% Chardonnay釀製而成。
泡沫細緻。
散發出酵母、餅乾、梨和一點白花香。
味道以酵母、烤烘麵包、梨和桃為主。
這氣泡酒雖然簡單，但是令人愉悅，是日常飲用的好選擇。
Ferrari Perlé 2016 | FS 87
It is made from 100% Chardonnay.
The sparkling has fresh aromas of candied lemon, pear and yeast.
Bubbles are barely present, with dominant flavours of yeast and pear peel.
It is direct to the point, balanced with relatively good structure.
由100% Chardonnay釀製而成。
香氣清新，帶糖漬檸檬、梨和酵母氣息。
泡沫不多，尤如在喝白酒，以酵母和梨皮味道為主。
這氣泡酒容易飲用，平衡，略帶結構。
Ferrari Perlé Rosé Riserva 2016 | FS 86+
It is made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.
Aromas of strawberries, yeast, hints of raspberry and floral.
It is dominated by red berry flavours, with hints of spice and yeast.
The wine is fruity and balanced, with structure. Enjoyable.
以80% Pinot Noir和20% Chardonnay釀造而成。
帶士多啤梨、酵母、一點覆盆子和花香。
味道以紅莓為主，並帶一絲香辛和酵母氣息。
這粉紅氣酒帶有滿滿的果味，平衡，有結構，非常享受。
Ferrari Giulio Riserva del Fondatore 2009 | FS 90
It is made from 100% Chardonnay.
Ferrari’s most prestigious line of wine.
The sparkling has delicate bubbles and aromas of candied pear, biscuit and honey.
It shows medium-plus body, lively acidity and ripe fruit flavours, followed by hints of spice.
It has long after-taste, good structure and complexity. It is pleasant with great ageing potential.
由100% Chardonnay釀製而成。
Ferrari的頂級系列酒款。
泡沫細緻，散發著糖漬梨、餅乾和蜜糖香氣。
酒體偏厚，酸度活潑，富成熟果味和一絲香辛。
收結悠長，結構良好和複雜性，令人愉悅而且富陳年潛力。
