Ca’ Marcanda是Gaja旗下在Tuscany的酒莊。想當年Angelo Gaja經過與前業主多次商討後，最終於1996年成功買下這個位於Bolgheri的莊園。Ca’ Marcanda於Piedmont的方言中亦有「House of endless negotiations」的意思。
Ca’ Marcanda is Gaja’s winery in Tuscany. Angelo Gaja finally purchased it in 1996 after several meetings with the previous owner. This is the origin of the name of ‘Ca’ Marcanda’ which means ‘House of endless negotiations’ in Piedmontese dialect expression.
時至今日，當時還在種植水果的60公頃「葡萄園」已發展成現時的120公頃，而且均以認證有機種植，年產約450,000瓶酒。除了最初的地塊處於山丘外，其餘大部分均位於平地。
Today, the 60 ha of ‘vineyards’ that were planted with fruits have grown to 120 ha. All of them are under certified organic cultivation. The annual production is about 450,000 bottles. Except for the original plot which is on the hill, most of the rest are on flat land.
參觀途中，接待人Valentina Montanari更特別提及到全球暖化的影響 - 炎熱的冬天越趨平常，在過去的數年間，除了2020年外，其餘不少年份都又熱又乾，使他們在種植方面面臨更多挑戰。
During the visit, Valentina Montanari mentioned that they are more and more used to have hot winter due to the global warming. In the past few vintages, except for 2020, many vintages were hot and dry, making challenges on viticulture.

香氣濃郁 - 散發出菠蘿、熱情果、黃布冧、白花和草木氣息。口感油滑，酸度活潑而帶白花、梨、一絲青菠蘿和草木味道，令人討好。
The wine is aromatic with aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, yellow peach, white flower and botanical. On the palate, there are white flower, pear, touch of unripe pineapple and herbs. It has oily texture and round mouth feeling with lively acidity. It is a pleasant wine.

聞香以煙草、黑櫻桃、一絲泥土及木桶香辛氣息為主。酒體偏厚、酸度偏高而帶成熟單寧，味道帶黑莓、礦物、泥土、木桶香辛及乾葉，富複雜性。
Aromas of tobacco, black cherry, touch of earth and oak spice. The wine has medium-plus body, medium-plus acidity and medium-plus ripe tannin. On the palate, there are black berry, mineral, earthy, oak spice and dried herbs flavours. The wine has complexity.
