早前嚐了一套比較特別的酒－Les Climats du Coeur，在此分享一下。 Les Climats du Coeur是一個由8個酒莊所發起的慈善活動，有點像Hospice de Beaune。發起人包括 Veronique Boss Drouhin (Joseph Drouhin) 、Aubert de Villaine (DRC) 、Anne-Claude Leflaive (Domaine Leflaive)、Jacques Lardiere (Maison Louis Jadot) 等。 8個發起人以兩個為一組，分別釀製四款Premier Cru作義賣用途。葡萄則來自2009年36個Bourgogne酒莊所捐贈的Premium Cru。成品以Magnum (1.5L) 裝瓶，每款釀造1,000瓶，限量發售1,000套 (一套四款)，另外還有25瓶Jeroboams (3L)。 四個酒款包括：Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru (Domaine Dujac & Faiveley)、Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru (DRC & Joseph Drouhin)、Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru (Domaine Leflaive & Louis Jadot) 以及Meursault 1er Cru (Domaine Roulot & Louis Latour)。 雖然是Magnum，但當晚四個酒款都開得不錯，較深印象的就是Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru了，來回喝了兩三杯：磚紅色中泛起很輕微的紫，偏熟紅果、來自木桶的香辛、紅花、礦物 － Vosne-Romanee的經典味道，整體尚算清透，偏長餘韻。 說真的，這枝酒雖然給不了驚為天人的感覺，質素也是比中規中矩好一點，畢竟葡萄都是從不同酒莊所捐出，會有質素不平均的因素出現，但四款酒都能表現出該村應有的特性，喝著的時候想起背後的故事、起源、各酒莊的努力，就覺得頗有意思，喝著心裡也覺得舒坦。

Les Climats du Coeur is a charity activity like Hospice de Beaune. Founders of the charity are Veronique Boss Drouhin from Joseph Drouhin, Aubert de Villaine from DRC, Anne-Claude Leflaive from Domaine Leflaive, Jacques Lardiere from Maison Louis Jadot and so on.
The 8 founders formed 4 wine-making teams to make 4 village wines from Bourgogne for charity bazaar. The grapes came from 36 wineries’ premier cru vineyard in 2009. 1,000 1.5L bottles were produced per village and 1,000 sets were available for sales. There were another 25 bottles of Jeroboams (3L).
4 village wines include Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru (Domaine Dujac & Faiveley), Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru (DRC & Joseph Drouhin), Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru (Domaine Leflaive & Louis Jadot) and Meursault 1er Cru (Domaine Roulot & Louis Latour).
Although they are in magnum format which may be too young to drink now, they performed very nice at that night. The one I like the most would be the VR 1er Cru – ruby colour with slightly purple, red fruits, oak spice, red floral and mineral on nose and palate which are typical Vosne-Romanee characters. Overall is well-balance and pure with relatively long after-taste.
Be honest, this is not a wine can impress you a lot regarding to its quality and fruit concentration as the wines are made from donated grapes which quality are not consistent for sure. However, the wines can show the terroir where they come from. Appreciate the wines with the meaningful story and efforts behind the bottle should be a kind of enjoyment.
